The Board of Directors of the Northeast Guld

(In alphabetical order by first name)

Anne Roser

Anne says, “Perhaps I love nature because I was born by the ocean in Halsingborg, Sweden. --Or grew up in a small rural town in northeastern Connecticut.--Or lived among the beautiful farmlands of Lancaster county, Pennsylvania. --Or fell in love with the Maine seacoast on my honeymoon. --Or moved to the White Mountains of New Hampshire in 2000 with my family, where I still live.

But creation invites me into knowing the Holy One in more detail and delight. It was a renewed gift during the early days and months of the pandemic. Recognizing the gift of creation brought me back to my roots and deepened my trust in our all sustaining Creator/Redeemer/Spirit.

Community for me is also a way to see the holy. To be involved with others - whether it's volunteering at my local library, or being involved in my church, or being

with friends -- all these experiences help me to see God's presence in the struggles and the joys of this life. Whether we dine at God's feast of bread and wine or a picnic table outdoors, we are receiving the gifts of God - more than we can ask or imagine.

I am a retired ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America) pastor who worked many years as a co-pastor with my late husband Tim, in both Pennsylvania and New Hampshire. I've served as an interim pastor in several congregations in Maine. My husband and I also served as guest island pastors for both Matinicus Island and Monhegan Island. I 've been involved with spiritual direction and silent retreats for many years. “
