The Alcyon Center
The Alcyon Center, Mount Desert Island, Maine, is a retreat center grounded in the contemplative tradition. Set on six wooded acres with nearly 300 feet of cove frontage, rustic cottages offer guest rooms and meeting space for groups. There are nature trails, benches, a gazebo, and a hammock for relaxing near the water.

The Contemplative Society
The Contemplative Society is an inclusive nonprofit association that encourages a deepening of contemplative prayer based on the Christian tradition while also welcoming and supporting other meditation traditions.

Contemplative Outreach
Contemplative Outreach is a spiritual network of individuals and small faith communities committed to living the contemplative dimension of the Gospel. The common desire for Divine transformation, primarily expressed through a commitment to a daily Centering Prayer practice, unites our international, interdenominational community.

Shalem Insitute of Spiritual Formation
The Shalem Institute provides in-depth support for contemplative living and leadership, a way of being in the world that is prayerfully attentive and responsive to God’s presence and guidance. For over 30 years, we have offered a wide variety of programs and resources for spiritual directors, clergy, lay leaders, and individuals who want to open themselves more fully to God in their daily lives and work. At Shalem, we honor each spiritual path and welcome anyone who would seek to learn from the contemplative way.

Spiritual Directors International
Spiritual Directors International is a global learning community of people from many faiths and many nations who share a common passion and commitment to the art and contemplative practice of spiritual direction, known as spiritual companionship, spiritual guidance, anam cara in Gaelic, and mashgiach in Hebrew. Members include spiritual directors, ministers, students, theology and rabbinical school faculty, health care providers, chaplains, and many others involved in spiritual care.

The Whole Health Center
The Whole Health Center is a small, relaxed, homey setting, valued by its many clients for over 30 years for providing a natural and nurturing approach to whole health and personal and spiritual growth. Our counseling and health care services, available by appointment, are truly holistic, integrating mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
